For me, Kasey Chambers is one of those artists who has always been around. As solo artists, Kasey and her husband, musician Shane Nicholson, have released some 11 solo albums and two albums as a duo, the second of which, Wreck & Ruin, was just released last month. It will take a lot to budge their first album Rattlin’ Bones from my all-time favorite album list, but this one is moving up. Par for the course of Monday Music posts, their sound is folkish, heavy on acoustic guitars, banjo and lovely vocal harmony. They make the kind of songs that stick in your head for years.
