BOOK JACKET DESIGN

bd-1021

Another fun round of great book cover designs. Oft-underappreciated, these books covers cry out from the shelves to be noticed and are sometimes the only redeeming feature of a book. At the very worst, even if I haven’t enjoyed it – I’ve still been able to carry around a veritable piece of art. TheĀ Jessica Hische drop-cap series of re-issued classics published by Penguin has made my bookshelf more colorful and more plentiful as the series is practically the only hardback editions I’ve bought in years. What are your favorites?
